Message Looking at FigGroup.addFig() and FigGroup.addFigs() these result in multiple calls to calcBounds()

How about having a dirtyBounds flag in FigGroup?

Instead of calling calcBounds each time just set the dirty flag to true.

Then the getBounds method can check this flag and call calcBounds() as required just once.
