Message Hi Sergey,

I've used GEF reasonably extensively in building a workflow editor
and have been continually frustrated by the lack of documentation
and the complexity of its vastly interconnected nature - there's a
little too much special case knowledge of the graph model inside the
fig stuff (look for instanceof tests). Also, the main drawback of
GEF is that it only supports flat graph models. So, while figs can
be nested, a graph consists solely of nodes and edges. Our application
now needs to support nested graphs (ie a node that itself is a/
references a graph).

We've turned to Diva which has a similar generous licence:

    http://www.gigascale.org/diva/

Cheers,

michael
